Rachel Randall is Northwest Indiana's first and only female home inspector.
Since 2012, Rachel has been inspecting homes, evaluating their structure, plumbing, heating, electrical, & drainage systems, as well as safety features, then educating her clients on the house's condition so they know exactly what they are buying and how to take care of it.
With an eye for detail and patient explanations, Rachel is an ideal choice for first time home buyers, single women, and discriminating buyers who want their purchase carefully scrutinized.
Her home inspections typically range from 3-5 hours long depending on the size of the house and you have the choice of following along as she performs the inspection or meeting her at the end for a recap. Within 24 hours of the inspection, you'll have a detailed written report with photos emailed to you.
"Rachel inspected 2 homes for my daughter. I was there during both of them. I was so happy that my daughter found a female inspector. We were very comfortable with her. She is very personable. Answered all of our question and talked us through everything she was doing. She is extremely thorough. Knows her stuff. I would definitely recommend her for your inspection."
Ellen Robinson-Scholte, July 2017
"Thanks for your excellent and thorough work, all items in the inspection report are being addressed including a cash allowance for windows. Thanks Rachel. Saved me lots."
Kurt Eddy, June 2015
"Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably won't meet me until after you hire me. Different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods and -- yes -- different pricing. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort."
